Update time again

Thought I would share a gorgeous picture taken while we were on holiday the other week.

Heather & Charlie were in a "Thomas the tank engine" ride, and they were grinning with mischief cos they managed to squeeze into a ride for one & all we could hear was giggles & "Choooooo-Chooooooooo" noises LOL

I love this photo it realy sums up our cheeky monkeys & I cant get over how much Heather looks like the photos of my Mum when she was young in this photo. Hehe n I guess theres no disputing shes a red head is there??

Funny thing is, if you look carefully at Charlies hair it looked Red that day too!

We had some good news when we got back last week............ Because Charlie coped so well with his one-day dialysis while we were away his Dr has decided to put him down from 2 days a week to one day :)

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd........................

if he carries on as he is now then they are going to review it in a few weeks and maybe take him off dialysis & just have his injections and monitoring and see how he copes...............

He will still need a transplant, but they are hoping that we can ge him to maybe 4 or 5 before its needed & he will be stronger, right now he is 1kg over the minimum weight they will transplant at, but they dont like operating on babies his age unless its life threatening.

We are still coming up against a few obsticles now & then............. like that his specialist milk has to be brought up from Great Ormond street hospital as its manufactured there, has to be transorted up to Manchester & then over to us.......... lol so its no use running out, we have to plan ahead! (its got all the pottasium removed & extra 'bound' vitamins in it.

LOL n if anyone wants a challenge................ try 'potty training' a kid with renal failure that only wees once or maybe twice a day, they dont have the triggers we do, so its not easy! sad thing is, Charlie shows all the signs of being ready (he comes & 'fusses' around when hes uncomfortable, but theres nothing we can do to encourage him)

OK, typed up another essay so I will quit now,

OMGosh...they look adorable. And I'm so happy to hear the great news!! And I know about the potty training thing...Zoe has encopresis. And has had it since she was 9 monthes old. While she was able to be trained for one she couldn't be trained for the other. Luckily I think we finally have her poor intestines back to where they should be. Give my lil guy loves for me.
