Whooooo hoooooo!!!!

I have been keeping a secret for the last 8 weeks and now I can share it!

I am going to be an Auntie again in March! :)

Heathers going to be a big sister (she doesnt know yet tho lol)

We have been keeping it in the family for a while cos poor Lauren has had 2 miscarriages, and an ectopic one, so we decided not to tell anyone till after the 12 week scan, which was yesterday :)

I cant wait to see what Charlie makes of a baby around, he kind of thinks they are wierd everytime he sees one he looks at Aly as if to ask what it is!


other stuff............

I went to see the Dr up at the hospital on Friday, hes refered me for a Gastrosphy (camera down the throat thing) and a full body scan, neither of which I am realy looking forward too, I had a scan years ago & I get claustrophobic in the 'tube' .

I wasnt feeling too bad about the camera thing until Monday, Mum had an appointment in the hospital for some tests herself and I went to pick her up she was telling me there was a lady in that had been for the same test I am having & she couldnt talk afterwards, and that she had had to have a general anasthetic for them to do it.

The consultant I saw told me they would do it with a local anasthetic, which I had kind of already got my head around - I really dont want a general cos I dont react well to it, last time I had one for a wisdom tooth removal I "lost" 3 whole days afterwards while the anasthetic went out of my system! Needless to say the idea of a general fills me with dread!

LOL The bonus to this is - I get 2 days off work afterwards, they want a scan with 'contrast' & hes told me I should rest after the scan for 24 hours cos the barium they use can make you feel ill after, and the info for the Gastrospy thing says that I may have a sore throat after & should 'rest my throat, and speak as little a possible' and since I work in a call centre that means I cant work cos my voice is my tool of work.


The wedding fayre season kicked off again last weekend, and it was manic!

LOL someone said theres supposed to be a recession on? well......... there wasnt with the brides I spoke to on Sunday! I had loads of enquiries, and despite being nuts it was loads of fun!

hehe I did a table decorated for a wedding - I decided everyone else would so the traditional Ivory/gold & burgundy so I wanted something different ..........


so I did White with Aqua & Hot Hot Pink and wow! The amount of positive comments I got realy made my day! I love the colours together, but to hear other people saying they loved it is such a buzz!
